Informational Book Explains How to Easily Make Bio-Fuel to Lower Gasoline Costs
Georgetown, TX (ContentDesk) May 10, 2006 Several countries are turning to ethanol blended bio-fuels as a way to increase their oil independence from foreign oil and to help lower fuel costs. The United States is following in the footsteps of Brazil and other countries to take advantage of this technology, as consumers are realizing that there is an alternative to high oil prices. The development of renewable fuel for home heating and vehicle consumption began in 1973, during the last gas crisis, when prices skyrocketed and fuel availability was limited. As pump prices are at near record highs again this spring, organic sources of renewable fuel are getting a more serious look from consumers as well as politicians. Many drivers are ready to do whatever it takes to cut their costs, even if it means making the fuel themselves, according to Nat Norton, publisher of
Infobooks.org, which has recently released the book, Make Your Own Fuel for 12 Cents Per Gallon.
www.infobooks.org/makegasoline.phtmlGas prices are going through the roof and the American consumer has suffered tremendously the past year or so as prices have nearly doubled." The book details how to build a legal distiller that generates bio-fuel from corn and grass. The project could be built by almost anyone in four to six hours using locally available materials at a cost of under $30. The bio-fuel it produces can be mixed with standard gasoline or diesel and burn safely without harming the vehicle. Using this method can save motorists 15-20 percent of the cost of gasoline.
Newer cars will soon be built that can run on 100% bio-fuels, but in the meantime, a gasoline/bio-fuels mix is still needed..
Caught in the Camera Eye
Caught in the Camera EyeBy: a Production of:HeartlandOutdoorsman.Com I recently received an interesting question in a photography email group that I subscribe to, and felt compelled to share it with fellow Notebook readers. It read basically like this: ?I am interested in knowing what purposes all of you feel photography serves. In other words, what place in your heart does photography fill??A rather simple question at first glance- or so I thought. As I began to sort out the reasons I enjoy photographing the outdoors, it occurred to me that the camera in itself is one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal when it comes to preserving our country?s natural heritage. The inspiration that photography provides in people makes it a medium unlike any other.Whether you decide to share your works with friends and family or broadcast them far and wide, the fact remains that our natural areas are indeed being preserved in one way or another....

"Rising Above the SEO Reputation"
How many times have you seen an article referring to SEO (search engine optimization) as a "Black Art" or "underhanded", "manipulative", "sleazy", "deceptive", "sneaky" etc?. I could go on and on but you get my drift. The thing is - our industry has a pitiful reputation which is being reinforced on a daily basis by the media and word of mouth. This realization hit me between the eyes recently when I read a comment in a search engine forum from an SEO who claimed he used his ethical SEO methods as a Unique Selling Point. Look what we've been reduced to - differentiating ourselves from the masses because we DON'T break the rules. What other industry could boast such a thing? Apart from the used car industry, I can't really think of any.So where did this nasty reputation come from and why has it been allowed to propogate? Well, it's mainly care of the hundreds of cowboys out there who decide one day they are online marketing experts, announce themselves as SEO's and set up a backyard biz,...

Why Is Spam Such a Problem?
Spam can be a lot more damaging than you might think. Obviously, they are the most annoying thing that you can receive through your inbox, but it goes deeper than that. If you are like the millions of other internet email users, you know that sending and receiving email is a free service that comes with your internet service. Internet service providers are great for providing you with a way to send letters to your friends and family while saving you the cost of postage and envelopes. You can even send cards for free with an email address.
But don't let the free service make you think that you don't actually have to pay for it. Let me explain. Internet service providers and web hosts do not get their email services for free. They have to pay for something that we do not have to pay for as consumers. They have to pay for bandwidth.
That might not mean much to you, but for these companies, it means that they are forced to produce mass emails, and this means that their costs...
